The Somali Women and Children's Support Network is a multicultural, non-profit, community based organizaton which provides services to immigrant women and children, seeking to foster leadership skills and encourage women towards self-sufficiency. The organization tackles issues of access to “mainstream” services, encouraging an open dialogue.
In doing so, the community's unique needs can be expressed and important qualities and characteristics can be shared. Those who make use of such programs can come to interrelate with the larger community in a mutually supportive fashion. Our services reflect the diversity of the community as we strive to encourage mutual support and to build strong interrelationships. We invite you to browse through our website and learn more about the SWCSN.
